I liked the Hawaiian setting rather than the Japanese setting for Stitch, but who’s complaining! Mad House did a really good job with Stitch, who’s still as cute as ever.
Eden of the East (not to be confused with East of Eden) is an anime television series directed and written by Kenji Kamiyama and produced by Production I.G. The story follows a Japanese girl named Saki Morimi who was visiting Washington D.C. where she meets a man who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa. Apparently, Akira has amnesia and he is part of a shady game wherein twelve individuals, Akira included, called Selecao are given ten billion yen to save Japan. Akira must also find out why he has amnesia and what his connections are to the missile attacks that hit Japan.
Retro game of the day: Chrono Trigger
Who doesn’t want time traveling? Created by Square way back in 1995 for the SNES, it’s a story about a group of adventurers who travel through time in order to save the future. I was never able to play the game when it was first released on the SNES. I first got my hands on it when it was ported on the PSOne along with Final Fantasy IV. Despite having been exposed to games such as Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII which featured high-end graphics at that time, I was still pretty much in awe while playing the game. The battle system was taken straight out of a Final Fantasy game but the story is another thing altogether. The game features a New Game+ and has multiple endings so the replay value is very high. The game has been ported to the Nintendo DS but the game is still pretty much the same with just a few tweaks added to adjust with the new system. This game is a must for all gaming enthusiasts.
Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from the TV series Phineas and Ferb. He’s a mad scientist whose evil plans are always thwarted by Perry the Platypus. Weird, I know, but he’s really very funny. Just try watching the show and you’ll see what I mean.
A Cassandra Cain aka Batgirl sketch by Archonyto.
He’s got some really good DC character’s sketches. Check him out!
Play the classic Super Mario in first person. Too bad it’s not a real game though, I would’ve loved to kick Bowser’s ass in first person!
